He attended the courses of, drawing in the SNBA, drawing and painting in the atelier Arte Ilimitada, comic strip in CITEN and design of animation and multimedia in ESTG-Portalegre. He has been a comics author since 1994, having participated in the fanzines Alçapão, Gambuzine, Tertúlia BDzine and Efeméride. Over the years, he has participated in several individual and collective exhibitions with works of drawing and comic strip. In 2005, it publishes the album “Metamorfina” (text of Miguel Mocho and edition Bedeteca of Lisbon); in 2012, “Psicose” (text by Miguel Costa Ferreira and El Pep edition); in 2014, “F (r) icções” (text by Nuno Duarte and edition of El Pep) and, in 2015, “Tormenta” (text by André Oliveira and edition of Polvo Editora). In 2010, he won 1st prize (A +) at the Amadora BD festival with the comic strip “República” and in 2011 the 1st prize (B stage) at the Moura BD festival with the comic strip “Movimento perpétuo”, both with text by Miguel Costa Ferreira. In 2016, he won the National Award for “Best drawing for a Portuguese Album ” with “Tormenta” and the same album grants him a nomination for the Comic Con Portugal Award for Excellence in Illustration. In the same year he published the album “Lugar Maldito” (André Oliveira’s text and edition of Polvo Editora), nominated in all categories for the Amadora BD and Comic awards with 2017.
